Vacation to Southern California 1999
We took advantage of spring break to take a vacation to Southern California.
It was a great trip, with a few surprises.
On the way over, near Palm Springs, is one of the largest electric windmill
generating stations around. Dan was driving when we passed it {and wished
he wasn't}.
General George S Pattons Desert Proving Grounds is just inside California.
Lots of great tanks to climb on!
Universal is just north of downtown Hollywood. We had to stop
for a photo.
We stopped at Mans {formally Gromans} Chinese Theator, where our heros are in cemet.
